MDI Data Availability

Question: What data is available from a Volvo Penta mechanical diesel interface (MDI) equipped engine?
The following data should be available:
- RPM
- Engine (Coolant) temperature
- Alternator potential
- Engine hours
- Engine warnings
- Fuel level (optional, only if the fluid level sensor is connected to the MDI)
The oil pressure sensor on MDI engines is of a switching type.
It can only give engine warning when the engine's oil pressure drops below a predetermined threshold.
